The Southampton Law and Technology Centre’s Annual Lecture will be given by Professor Colin Gavaghan, Professor of Digital Future in the University of Bristol Law School and Bristol Digital Futures Institute. It is entitled “If you can’t tell, does it matter?: Do we need new law for human-like AI?” Professor Gavaghan will discuss whether we need to be protected from increasingly human-like AI and whether we should be restricted in how we interact with them.
