About

Join us to hear how Southampton’s latest research in marine science and engineering is tackling the fight against climate change and how we, as a nation, will achieve Net Zero by 2050.

As the country prepares for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), we will bring together a panel of cutting-edge thinkers to address the vital role of the oceans in supporting sustainability and ocean health. We will explore how oceans can be our most powerful nature-based solution, and why we need to act now to protect them.

Hosted by Dr Jon Copley, this event will include keynote presentations from our world-leading researchers, and there will also be the opportunity to ask your question during a Q&A.

Event time is shown in BST.
