About

Join us for this annual lecture featuring “Women on Business” in celebration of Dame Helen Alexander’s incredible legacy as a role model for women in business.

Throughout her career, Helen Alexander steadfastly championed diversity and fought tirelessly to improve gender balance in business. She was the first female President of the CBI and former Chief Executive of The Economist Group.

Now in its fourth year, the event returns in a virtual format and welcomes Dame Sharon White DBE (Chair of the John Lewis Partnership) for a fireside chat with Zanny Minton Beddoes (Editor-in-Chief at the Economist).

Supported by Helen’s family and organisations with which she was associated – the CBI, The Economist Group, Informa, and the University of Southampton – this evening provides a fantastic opportunity to hear from and ask questions directly to Dame Sharon.
