What memories do you have of your days at the University of Southampton? Do you think of a particular time and place? Is it the Union back in the ‘60s? Glen Eyre in the ‘90s? Or Jesters in the ‘00s?
What about the music of the time? Were the Beatles more popular than Jesus? Were the Spice Girls topping the charts? Or did Justin Timberlake get everybody on the dancefloor?
We all have those songs that remind us of brilliant moments every time we hear them, and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations wants to know which tracks take you back to your days at the University of Southampton.
Replay is a bold and exciting new way you can get involved with your alumni community. Check out our site, where you can let us know your songs and memories of the time. Take a look through submissions from your fellow alumni, and listen to our curated playlist of tracks on Spotify.
We’ve already had some great song choices – from Mr Brightside to Don’t Stop Believin’ to the Baywatch theme – alongside a selection of funny and sweet memories:

Mark Ronson Featuring Amy Winehouse – Valerie
Chloe (2014) at the Social Sciences Christmas Party 2011
I played the Ladies of the Canyon album so often that a guy came down from the room above, and lent me a different Joni Mitchell album so that he could have a change!
Joni Mitchell – The Circle Game
Mike (1972) at Chilworth Manor Halls
Once you’ve submitted your songs and memories on the site, don’t forget to share on social media with the hashtag #ReplayYourMemories. And keep an eye out for more developments with Replay in the coming months.
