Archaeology alumnus Jonathan Gunn-Smith (BA Archaeology, 1986) was part of a team that recently won a ‘Who Will Care?’ Award at Chelmsford Civic Centre in May of this year.
The ‘Who Will Care?’ Awards celebrate volunteering in Essex and recognise vibrant communities and individuals that are supporting each other in the region. Jonathan’s team, Ford Dunton Technical Centre (Laindon), won the Business Award, which recognises excellence in corporate social responsibility. The charity that his team supported was the Hamelin Trust, a leading Essex based charity for supporting children and adults with disabilities and their families.
