International conductor and harpsichordist, Bridget Cunningham (BA Music, 1996), ARCM MMus, is currently researching and conducting a whole new series of Handel CDs for Signum Records.
The first disc, Handel in Italy; Volume 1, with sopranos Sophie Bevan and Mary Bevan, baritone Benjamin Bevan and London Early Opera was reviewed very well: “A Dazzling Disc” – the Guardian and “Splendid in every respect” – BBC Radio 3 CD Review. Her latest disc, Handel at Vauxhall; Volume One is currently in the Specialist Classical Charts for the fourth week running. She gave a fascinating interview on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on Good Friday and on BBC Radio 4’s Front Row about finding unrecorded material, researching and conducting Handel’s music for Signum Records.
