Thomas Stillman (LLM Law, 1984) has been appointed the new Chief Counterintelligence Officer of Argonne, a US Department of Energy national laboratory.
Thomas spent a career in law enforcement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) which included an assignment to the US Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. During that time he worked closely with MI5 and MI6. After retiring, Thomas was hired by Argonne and has now been promoted to Chief Counterintelligence Officer.
Thomas said: “During the recent interview process, Dr Peter Littlewood, the Argonne Laboratory Director was very interested in my University of Southampton LLM. I definitely think it helped me secure this position.”
