Over 21,000 University of Southampton alumni still live in and around the city of Southampton, and we know that even those of you who have moved on to pastures new still #LoveSouthampton and have lots of fond memories of your time here.
In March the University launched a campaign to capture and celebrate positive experiences of the city and all the delights it has to offer, by calling out to students, alumni and the local community and asking people to tell us about what they think makes Southampton special.
We need you to join in and help us to highlight the diverse range of entertainment, leisure, cultural activities and opportunities that students and residents can take advantage of in Southampton; celebrate the value and contribution the University community makes to the city and enhance Southampton’s profile and reputation as a city that offers a fantastic student experience for a diverse and international student body.
To join the conversation on Twitter or Facebook simply tweet or post a short story or reason why you love Southampton using the hashtag #LoveSouthampton. It can be anything from the new spring greenery on the Common, to the energetic Southampton nightlife, to the beautiful sights of Winchester.
The keen photographers amongst you can submit your pictures of the city and surrounding areas with the #LoveSouthampton hashtag and keep an eye out for specific competitions over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, why not enjoy some of the images from our student competition that we held earlier in the year?
